LYDIA MARTINELLI not only works behind the camera as
the film's director, she also produces and writes on an assortment
of film projects.
MARTINELLI obtained her film
education at NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies
for creative writing and UCLA's Entertainment Program for directing/filmmaking.
She entered the professional
entertainment world while in New York when she was hired at
Broadway Video (Saturday Night Live) and Cunningham Escott Slevin
talent agency.
Returning to Los Angeles, she landed jobs at Creative Artists
Agency and International Creative Management assisting top literary
agents.
MARTINELLI founded Lane City Films in 2004. She directed and
wrote CIELO DRIVE, an inaugural production
for the company, which she co-executive produced with Clinton
H. Wallace. Following this film, she continued directing and
producing to get first-hand experience working on independent
films.
She produced, wrote and directed the action suspense film LEVERAGE
and produced, co-wrote and directed the suspense thriller entitled,
WHISKEY NEAT. Producer credits include SHOW
TUNES, THE PASSENGER, and martial arts film FRIEND’S
BRIDGE, directed by the Kung Fu expert, Mr. Yim Chan
Tong. Just recently, MARTINELLI executive produced RECIPE
FOR ROMANCE, a television pilot with Studio Mio Productions
& Lane City Entertainment.
ANYA
ADAMS

Formerly
from the Non-Profit arena, ANYA ADAMS worked
with the groundbreaking company Up With People for seven years
before she made the jump to the motion picture industry. While
working with Up With People based out of Denver, Colorado, ADAMS
was able to travel to destinations around the world. Originally
from Vancouver, Canada, ADAMS relocated to Los Angeles when she
was accepted into the DGA trainee program. She has worked on numerous
shows including: DAREDEVIL, BOOMTOWN, MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE,
THE PRACTICE, and THE WEST WING. She
is currently working on the hit television series CSI
MIAMI. Adams crossed over into a key role of producer
on the suspense thriller WHISKEY NEAT.

PAYNE

SHANTA
PAYNE hails from San Diego, California. Upon graduation
from high school, PAYNE attended Howard University to study English
Literature. Her goal was to become a broadcast journalist, however,
a strong interest in the entertainment industry led her to take
acting classes and TV/Film production courses. After a three-year
stint in New York studying with The Harlem Theatre Company and
performing in numerous plays, Payne returned to her home state.
She appeared in plays and independent films, but her natural talents
behind the scenes led her to filmmaking opportunities that paved
the way to an influx of assignments. Casting, producing, directing
and writing screenplays became the norm for the budding filmmaker.
She wrote, directed and executive produced the docudrama BLUE
MIDNIGHT, and a producer on WATERFALLS
for Loverboy Entertainment

H. WALLACE

CLINTON
H. WALLACE was educated at New York University, Univerdidad
De Granada in Spain and Universite De Paris-IV Sorbonne. He is
best known for his photography works on film sets and live events.
WALLACE
crossed over to executive producing in 2004 with the documentary
NAKED IN THE 21ST CENTURY and partnered with
Lydia Martinelli on the production of CIELO DRIVE
and WHISKEY NEAT. WALLACE is founder of Photomundo

EMILE
HARIS

EMILE
HARIS is a native of Singapore. He moved to the United
States and attended Long Beach State University graduating with
a degree in creative writing and film. As a cinematographer, HARIS
is visually driven to genres ranging from Horror, Thriller and
Action. He puts great emphasis and energy in determining that
the director's vision comes across in specific detail. As a cinematographer
his credits include: FRIENDS BRIDGE, LEVERAGE, PERFECT
RED and WHISKEY NEAT. HARIS also wrote
and crossed over into the director’s chair in the short
film MAVET.
HILLARY
HANAK
Lighting Director |
HILLARY HANAK studied Film and Video Production
at the University of Pittsburgh in conjunction with Pittsburgh
Filmmakers. During college, she got to work on films MOTHMAN
PROPHECIES, starring Richard Gere, ROCK STAR
and WONDER BOYS. Upon graduation she followed
the golden road to Tinsel Town to broaden her horizons. Since
then she has had the opportunity to work on films such as BLACK
CADILLAC, and DYNAMITE. HANAK was Director
of Photography for the second unit on OEDIPUS,
an animated short made with real vegetables that won Best Cinematography.
In her spare time she is an experimental photographer who has
been in galleries all over the Los Angeles area.
DAN
L. BROCK began his media career many years ago producing
nuclear training films for the US Navy. He then took a turn and
began teaching film editing and sound design at the University
of Arizona in Tucson. Brock works on both sides of post-production
as a film editor and sound designer. BROCK is currently working
with Georgopoulos Design Associates producing original sound design
elements for DVD authoring of main-stream titles from Disney,
Universal and other major studios. He has edited many films. He
is the co-founder CueTime Software, a film industry software company.
JASON
SOLOWSKY
Music Composer |
JASON
SOLOWSKY is a gifted and versatile film composer. He
has a degree in film scoring from Berklee College of Music (Boston,
MA), and has also graduated from the USC Film Scoring Program
(Los Angeles, CA). He has studied with some of the finest film
composers in the world, such as Christopher Young, Elmer Bernstein,
and David Raksin. SOLOWSKY is also an accomplished guitarist,
pianist and singer. He was a back-up singer for Barbra Streisand
at the 53rd annual prime-time Emmy awards show. Having scored
numerous independent films, he has just finished scoring the 35mm
feature film, SPLIT SECOND, which stars Azdine
Melliti, Curtis Eames and Jeff Fahey (THE LAWNMOWER MAN,
WYATT EARP, WHITE HUNTER BLACK HEART). Currently, SOLOWSKY
is scoring the family feature film, 110%: WHEN BLOOD,
SWEAT AND TEARS ARE NOT ENOUGH, directed by Dan Golden,
which stars Jesse Rodriguez and Thomas Kopache (CATCH
ME IF YOU CAN, STIGMATA, STAR TREK: Generations). He
is also scoring the Indian/American crossover feature film, THAT
GAME OF CHESS, directed by Raja Bundela, which features
the well-known Bollywood actor Alok Nath (GANDHI).
In addition, SOLOWSKY is scoring the debut feature film by Le-Van
Kiet, DUST OF LIFE, and the horror feature film
by Michael Su, MY DEMON WITHIN. Another highlight
of SOLOWSKY’S career was scoring THE LIFE IN A DAY, directed
by actor/director Joseph Mazzello (JURASSIC PARK, SIMON

JEFF
SCOTT
Stunt Coordinator |
JEFF
SCOTT pursued a career learning to fly Helicopters, Aerobatics
Aircraft and Hot Air Balloons that came to an end when an air
traffic control school in his area was shut down.
His
stunt career began on TV series NASH BRIDGES
and feature film COPY CAT. Scott combined stunts
and special effects on the film THIS SPACE BETWEEN US
starring Jeremy Sisto. He coordinated Penelope Cruz in WOMEN
ON TOP, taught supermodel Donna Feldman how to walk underwater
for a Miller Genuine Draft commercial and did the stunt coordinating
for MAD TV’s feature film MOONPIE.
SCOTT
performs fights, high-falls, speed driving and a variety of other
high-risk stunts. SCOTT trained under weapons and effects specialist
William ‘Bill’ Curtin to further his career as a special
effects pyrotechnic in addition to stunt coordinating.
